Election Day is May 2, 2026
for Katy ISD Board of Trustees Position 5
Nathan was born and raised in Katy and attended Winborn Elementary, McDonald Junior High, and Katy High School. He holds a Business Marketing degree from the University of Houston and has spent over 20 years in consumer analytics consulting, helping major retail and manufacturing companies make clear, fact‑based decisions—experience that directly strengthens his approach to school board governance. In his senior director role at Circana, he advises executives, builds trusted partnerships, and translates complex data into practical strategies that drive results. His expertise in advanced analytics equips him to evaluate district data with clarity, ask the right questions, filter out noise, and stay focused on what truly supports student success and positive outcomes. Separate from his consulting career, Nathan is also a real‑estate investor and small‑business owner, giving him additional experience with budgeting, long‑term planning, and responsible financial stewardship.
Nathan grew up attending St. Peter’s United Methodist Church and is now an active member of Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church. His three children are enrolled in Katy ISD schools at the elementary, junior high, and high school levels, and are involved in sports, dance, band, and choir.
His wife, Danielle, is also a proud product of Katy ISD, having attended Memorial Parkway Elementary, Memorial Parkway Junior High, and Taylor High School. A Baylor University graduate and CPA, she is now a stay‑at‑home mom and serves as Treasurer of the WoodCreek Junior High Band Boosters as well as the school’s PTA council delegate. A lifelong lover of books, she also volunteers weekly in the Wolman Elementary library.
Nathan currently serves as Vice President of Fort Bend County MUD 151. Over his seven‑year tenure, he has worked with fellow board members to implement a long‑term capital improvement plan and develop a comprehensive Master Parks Plan, both designed to preserve the District’s strong financial position while enhancing community amenities. Throughout his service, he has placed a strong emphasis on community engagement and transparent communication, recognizing that a well‑informed community strengthens trust, builds connection, and provides valuable feedback that helps guide responsible decision‑making.
He has played a key role in multiple bond projects, including major infrastructure and park improvements, all while maintaining a financially conservative approach. The District is now actively rolling out phases of the Master Parks Plan developed during his service.
Working in partnership with the full board, his leadership helped reduce the property tax rate by more than 20%, while the District has continued to operate with a budget surplus for several years.
Nathan believes deeply in giving back, standing by the idea that you get what you give. He has volunteered across the District, serving on Katy ISD’s Community Bond Advisory Committee, participating in PTA and Band Booster organizations, and actively supporting the Watch D.O.G.S. and GUIDES programs—never missing an opportunity to be present throughout his children’s school careers.
Nathan has always thrived on helping people from all walks of life. After earning his undergraduate degree and beginning his corporate career, he became a licensed EMT and spent many years volunteering for overnight ambulance shifts with West Harris County EMS.
Following Hurricane Harvey, he and several close neighbors went door‑to‑door in Old Katy to assist anyone in need, with a special focus on elderly homeowners overwhelmed by the devastation. Like so many dedicated volunteers, he spent day after day mucking out homes. He and a small group ultimately committed to one household in particular, raising donations and organizing volunteer labor to ensure the home was fully rebuilt.
